Buying & access

01What's the difference between a preview page and the full report?
The preview page (e.g. /markets/{slug}) is a free, indexed digest, top-line market size, top five companies, region split, and a sources index. The full report adds segmentation, multi-year forecasts with bands, scenario tables, vintage history, and the analyst memo. Pricing is on the pricing page.
02Can I see a sample of a finished report before I buy?
Yes, the /sample page walks through the entire structure of a finished report and links to a representative live preview you can open without signing up.
03How many seats does a single licence cover?
One named seat. Multi-seat team licences and white-label licensing are available, write to sales@meridianconsensus.com with your team size and we'll quote within one business day.
04Do you sell to individuals, or only companies?
Both. Plans default to a single named seat; invoices are issued to whichever entity you provide.

Delivery & timing

01How quickly is a report delivered?
Catalogue reports are immediate, purchase grants instant download. Commissioned scope is delivered within five business days for standard depth, or seven for a deep multi-region cut. Each commission receives a written scope confirmation with the exact delivery date.
02What formats does a report ship in?
Web (the live report page on the platform), PDF, PowerPoint, and Excel. Excel includes the underlying tables; PowerPoint includes the executive deck plus the figure pack. All exports are watermarked with the licensee name.
03When does a report get refreshed?
Preview pages refresh every 90 days by default. Material events, top-10 company 10-K filings, sector M&A, regulatory action, trigger an earlier refresh and a dated revision note. Subscribers see the full vintage ledger; the public revision history is visible at /markets/{slug}/revisions.
04If a report is updated after I buy it, do I get the new version?
Yes. Every refresh of a report you own is delivered to your account at no additional cost for as long as your subscription is active. Single-report buyers receive refreshes for twelve months from purchase.

How figures are produced and validated

Methodology

01Where do your figures come from?
Every headline number is reconstructed from at least three independent evidence paths drawn from five canonical evidence classes, regulatory filings, official statistics, industry benchmarks, syndicated benchmarks, and analyst-conducted primary research. The full hierarchy is on the methodology page.
02Is anything in your reports generated by AI without a human in the loop?
No. Proprietary tooling supports synthesis and cross-checking under analyst supervision, but every figure is written, reviewed, and signed off by a named human analyst plus an adversarial committee. The tooling does not have autonomous publication authority. See the research standards.
03What if your figure disagrees with another published source?
Disagreements are disclosed on the report, never quietly reconciled to the median. The divergence register shows which evidence path our number rests on and where it differs from independently published estimates.
04How do I report an error?
Email corrections@meridianconsensus.com with the page URL and the specific claim. The corrections desk acknowledges within one business day and resolves within three. Material corrections are fixed in place with a dated note; the prior figure is preserved in the revision log.

Refunds & billing

01What's your refund policy?
Preview-first. Every market preview, the methodology, and a complete specimen report are free to read end-to-end before you commission, the same institutional norm Gartner, Forrester, and the syndicated houses run. Commissioned reports are final on delivery. If a delivered report contains a factual error or misses the agreed scope, email research@meridianconsensus.com with the order ID, the analyst team reviews case-by-case. Pre-delivery cancellation is automatic and full. The full policy is at /refund-policy.
02What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal handles all card and account payments. Wire transfer and invoice billing are available on enterprise plans, contact sales for terms.
03Can I get an invoice for procurement?
Yes. A PDF invoice is generated automatically for every purchase and is downloadable from the order page. Custom billing details (PO number, VAT registration, separate billing entity) can be added before checkout.
04Do you charge in currencies other than USD?
All catalogue prices are denominated in USD. PayPal converts to your local currency at checkout using their published rate; the receipt records both amounts.

Customisation

01Can I commission a report on a market that isn't catalogued?
Yes, any market, in any geography, is eligible for commission. Send a brief describing sub-sector, region, and decision context to research@meridianconsensus.com and an analyst returns scope, price, and delivery date within one business day.
02Can I get a custom region cut or a deep dive on one segment?
Yes. Add the region or segment to your commission brief; the analyst returns a scope memo confirming the depth and price of the cut before any work starts.
03Do you offer white-label or co-branded research?
On the unlimited tier and on enterprise commissions. The research stays under our editorial standards; front-matter and export branding can carry your firm's identity.
04Is there an API?
Programmatic access to your library and to commissioned outputs is available on the unlimited tier and on request. Public unauthenticated API access is not currently offered.

What we store and what we don't

Privacy & data

01Do you train models on my prompts or commissioned briefs?
No. Inference providers operate under a no-retention-for-training agreement, and commission briefs are stored only inside your account. The full subprocessor list is in the privacy policy.
02Where is my data stored?
On Vercel and Neon (Postgres) infrastructure in US data centers. Standard contractual clauses apply for cross-border transfer where required. See /security for the full posture.
03Can I delete my account and all my data?
Yes. From /account/privacy you can export everything you've stored and request full deletion. Purchase records are retained for seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations; everything else is purged.
04Do you share my email or activity with anyone?
No. We don't sell data, run advertising trackers, or share usage with third parties beyond the named subprocessors required to operate the service.
