What if some chapters can't be generated from the evidence?
Per-chapter retry runs each chapter twice on failure. If more than two chapters can't deliver, the dossier status downgrades to PARTIAL and the delivered/missing chapter set is recorded in the manifest. You can re-run only the missing chapters from your workspace without re-paying retrieval cost.
Can I commission a dossier on a custom vertical or geography?
Verticals: yes, the form accepts custom values and widens the source cluster selection automatically. Geography: see the Coverage section above.
